10/7/10 - Radnor Middle School Eats Again!

On Tuesday, Oct. 26th, Wayne’s Peace A Pizza will again partner with Radnor Middle School faculty and students to help raise funds for breast cancer research. The community is invited to join in the fun from 4-9 p.m. Radnor faculty and staff will work the counter serving up gourmet slices, stromboli and salads to students, families and the local community. Proceeds from the evening will be donated to Breastcancer.org.

Last October, Breastcancer.org received more than $4,500 dollars from RMS, and more than 500 people visited Peace A Pizza to help support the cause – in the last three years, RMS has raised over $10,000.

“Partnering with Peace A Pizza for the Eat It to Beat It event last year was a real winner for our school, the community and for breast cancer research,” said Radnor Middle School principal Anthony Stevenson. “Our students and faculty had a blast working together. We raised a lot of money and awareness for a worthy cause. And the evening was just plain fun. The spirit of teamwork and generosity lingered long after the event.”

Seventh grade students are creating announcements, posters and press releases for the event. Wear pink on Tuesday, October 26th to show your support!
